Title Here
Melina began her career as a model. She won a Miss California beauty contest and also modeled athletic wear for Nike. She decided to become a professional wrestler after talking to Empire Wrestling Federation (EWF) superstar Mike Henderson in 2000. Perez started training at Jesse Hernandez's School of Hard Knocks in San Bernardino, California and made her professional debut in April 2002. Many EWF officials stated that she had the most natural ability of any woman who came through their school. In late 2002 Perez auditioned for World Wrestling Entertainment's reality show Tough Enough III, making it through to the final twenty-one before being eliminated from the competition in the final cut of the first episode. After she was eliminated from the contest, trainer Al Snow pulled Perez aside and encouraged her to keep trying to pursue her dream as a wrestler.

Jillian knows how to hold a grudge. The deaf-tone Diva wanted nothing more than to defeat Divas Champion Melina once the Latina lovely captured the Divas Championship after Jillian’s brief reign. To that point, Jillian teamed with Chavo Guerrero to take on Melina & Santino Marella. Unfortunately for Jillian, Melina seemed to be taking out some aggression, thanks to her team’s loss the night before, not to mention a distraction from Hornswoggle that helped the Divas Champion to easily pin her opponent.

The little guy, dressed as a DX member, received a surprise of his own. A lawyer from Triple H and Shawn Michaels served ‘Swoggle with a “Cease and Desist” order in order to force the leprechaun to stop imitating them.

They have bragging rights
Posted by Malcolm on October 27th, 2009. Filed in PPV Results -- Add Comment?

With SmackDown previously down 1-0 to Raw following United States Champion The Miz’s win over Intercontinental Champion John Morrison, Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix & Natalya tied up the score at WWE Bragging Rights when The Glamazon’s impressive strength overcame the Monday night Divas.

Finally, after being traded to SmackDown by Raw’s special guest host Nancy O’Dell a few weeks ago, Beth Phoenix gained redemption by pinning Divas Champion Melina – one of the very Divas that Beth was swapped for in the tri-brand trade.

Tying up the night at one a piece, McCool, Natalya & The Glamazon must be very content with the success they achieved putting their brand back in the running for the WWE Bragging Rights trophy.

The win didn’t come easy, with Melina, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim giving it their all in an attempt to bring Monday nights something to boast about. However, Phoenix proved it just wasn’t meant to be, crushing the Divas Champion with the Glam Slam and picking up the 1-2-3.

Despite the shared pride this victory brings to SmackDown’s team captain, Women’s Champion McCool must be weary seeing the dominance that Phoenix exhibited in the match. Perhaps the smart, sexy and powerful Glamazon is on her way to becoming the new dominating Diva force on Friday nights.

Whatever the future holds for SmackDown’s Diva division, at WWE Bragging Rights, both Divas, along with Natalya, celebrate victory for Friday nights together as a team.

who has bragging right?

Six of WWE’s Divas will have the opportunity at WWE Bragging Rights to prove their respective brand consists of the smartest, sexiest and most powerful women.

Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix and Natalya will represent Team SmackDown, while Team Raw will include Divas Champion Melina, Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim.

If it wasn’t for this month’s Tri-Diva trade, orchestrated by SmackDown and ECW General Managers Theodore Long and Tiffany as well as recent Raw special guest host Nancy O’Dell, the makeup of these teams would have been considerably different. Melina, after being dealt from SmackDown to Raw, dethroned Jillian that very night to become just the third Diva in WWE history to capture the Divas and Women’s Title in her career. (McCool was the first ever to accomplish this feat earlier this year.)

The Glamazon, meanwhile, didn’t hide her initial displeasure about being shipped over from Raw to SmackDown. Though it didn’t stop the former two-time Women’s Champion from putting the current Women’s Champion on notice. And she wasn’t the only one; less than a week ago, Team SmackDown co-captain Chris Jericho emphasized to Michelle just how important it is that she represent the blue brand well.

Ultimately, showing no jealousy will be essential for all participants in this match. It’s no secret that Phoenix and Natalya desire to become Women’s Champion as it is for Melina’s teammates to become Divas Champion. But first they must concentrate on their opponents at WWE Bragging Rights – not on the gold they hope to obtain in the future.

Which Divas will establish brand supremacy? Be sure to catch all the action at WWE Bragging Rights Sunday at 8/5 PT, exclusively on pay-per-view.

Jillian’s brief reign as Divas Champion hit a sour note last week thanks to Melina. Mere moments after the tone deaf Diva upset Mickie James to capture the gold, a Tri-branded Divas Trade was announced and Melina was re-introduced to Raw as its newest beauty. The Latina lovely then proceeded to defeat Jillian and claim the Divas Title as her own.

This week, Jillian sought revenge with the assistance of Chavo Guerrero. The so-called “Mexican Warrior” seemed poised to interfere when Hornswoggle emerged from under the ring sporting a Snoop Dogg outfit and attacked him. This allowed Melina to refocus on the match and defeat her blond rival. Now Melina must shift her focus to this Sunday when she will team with Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim at WWE Bragging Rights to face down Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix & Natalya.

In the post-match chaos, a frustrated Chavo appeared bent on retaliation. As he went to attack the little leprechaun, however, the real Snoop Dogg entered. The rapper/actor and Hornswoggle then teamed up to teach Chavo a lesson in humility. Ooooh, Chavo.

NoDQ.com is reporting that Beth Phoenix was moved to Smackdown because it was felt that she lost momentum on RAW. It’s been rumored that she could be paired up with Dolph Ziggler.

The Bella Twins were moved to RAW because Vince McMahon was said to have “fallen in love with them” following their guest host skits on RAW several weeks back. They are expected to be featured in guest host segments on a regular basis now.

WWE is said to be high on both Jillian Hall (McMahon likes her act) and Melina (which is why she was moved to RAW).

moved for a reason
Posted by Malcolm on October 15th, 2009. Filed in Uncategorized -- Add Comment?

This is the reason why Melina was moved from Smackdown to Raw:

Mike Johnson said that WWE felt Melina had lost momentum on SmackDown, and the original reason why she was moved in the first place – because they felt she would help out the Hispanic demographic – wasn’t working. So they decided to put her back on RAW, which she didn’t want to leave in the first place, and put the belt on her straight away to give her momentum.

Jillian went against Mickie James for the Divas Championship Match. Jillian won, then Nancy O’ Diel comes out saying she mad a major diva trade. Then Melina’s music comes on and she faces Jillian for the belt. Melina goes straight for her split but sorta messed it up so she picks Jillian up the hits the Last Call and wins the title belt.
